• Craftsmanship - we expect that which we build to last across generations, so for each project we select the best materials, construction joinery, & hardware to ensure a product of the highest integrity.  Every cut, joint, reveal and finish is scrutinized and held to a standard of excellence subscribed to by the most elite of artisans.  Because we love what we do,  we want to be the best at it and, therefore, never allow ourselves to become lax in our efforts to build the closest-to-perfect piece every time.
• Functionality - if you're committing to the time and expense of a custom piece, it must succeed in serving the exact purpose for which you intend it - be it housing your kids' hats, gloves & scarves, displaying your prized LP collection, or storing your cookware.  We employ a very organic approach toward designing your piece that might include personally sizing elements to you & your family members (& respective belongings), full-scale layouts, and design charrettes.   

• Seamless Integration - a piece needs to be beautiful and functional, but just as importantly it needs to integrate well into its environment.  We're very experienced with designing pieces such that to the unknowing eye, they appear to have always been part of the original fabric.  This includes dimensioning components to be consistent with surrounding architectural detail, replicating existing moldings (crown, base, chair) so that new pieces tie-in seamlessly & selecting wood species to match/compliment that which is already present.
